Thats such a lame comment lol. I cannot even say that because I haven't been to both camps, I just love the guys attitude so we are on board all the way.
People judge our gear all the time spouting off about how this stem is like 8 times better than that one then I catch them in public and they are riding a unicycle lol.
I should get the camp to give you a free stay next summer just for kicks then have you write a review. Then you can comment and back stuff up without any doubt that your experience is true.
I think both camps kick ass, more guys getting people to ride the better, even if it was my worst enemy running a camp I'd have a hard time slagging them, at least they are doing something for the soport.
Too much drama, I'm hungry.

idk. id say that coc is a second place to sgc. but im not doubting that coc isnt a good camp, its just that sgc is a better camp. just my opinion, and your right, i dont acctually know... id be fine with a free stay hahaha. then i will write a review...
luseboy how can u say its better.? u type something u have no prof of..think before u speak..why do u people go on here to bash..were all n this sport for the same reason because we love it..people on here have no clue MOST of the time! people like u go around and bash peoples bikes because they might not have loads of money, but doesnt mean they cant ride..same with parks, who cares which ones better,it shouldnt matter because its are sport..we should be happy theres a new park to ride.makes me laught because u can say something like that and have no clue to what ur sayin..u make a comment like that then ask for a free night..lmao..so lame
Luseboy, just don't comment if you dont have something good to say. You obviously have no clue... How can you have thst opinion if you havn't been to COC? Have you even been to SGC? Straitline deserves mega props for that comment. Pretty sure both camps would be an equally amazing experience that you would remember for a lifetime.
i went to sgc, and absolutley loved it. i saw some kids being coached by coc, and it just didnt look like they were having as much fun. nevermind about all this, i didnt mean to offend anybody, i cant belive what pb has come to. i say my opinion, and it seemed like in a nice way, and get all this shit. forget it, it doesnt matter. both camps are great. i just had such a good experience at sgc, and i doubt that coc could top it. not to mention that the coc kids werent lookin too happy... so nevermind. i dont care. if you like coc better, that is absolutely fine.
who cares, you get to ride at Whistler. i wouldn't care if the coaches were pedopirates as long as i could ride there. you guys get it so easy. in the rest of Canada there isn't camps like that or even hills remotely as fun.
Come on out. Thanks god for planes trains and automobles. To get to the Whistler Bike Park, drive west, turn right at the ocean, turn right into whistler, park. Ride. Easy.
haha it costs around $1200 for airfare to get to Whistler from Ontario. Trust me, if there wasn't a money factor i would have been there all summer.
Skip Air Canada man, they suck, they lose peoples stuff all the time anyway. Fly Westjet. They haven't lost a campers bag yet and they are cheaper for bringing your bike. It's about $300 - $350 each way most of the time. If you look and stay on the sales you can get it for cheaper than that. Then use our discount code to save 10%. Instant money saving. See you next summer I hope.

i agree completely with odin333.. its a camp at whistler none the less.. the trails dont change and im sure that all the coaches want to do is help apsiring riders futher themselves in the sport. like i said earlier..a camp at whistler is a camp at whistler.. the trails are the same for either camp so just go out there and RIDE YOUR BIKE
In response to Luseboy, I went to SGC two summers ago and had an absolute blast. I thought if I were to go back to Whistler Id like to go to SGC and wouldnt really even consider COC. I definitely would now. Im really impressed how they have a COC employee on Pinkbike actually reaching out to the biking community, adding photos nearly daily and so on. I mean no slight against SGC, its a great camp no question, but the COC guys have done a fantastic job. By taking time to answer questions on Pinkbike it does a great job at making people feel welcome before they come, especially if youre coming from across the continent. Realistically, both camps are great Im sure, Im just very impressed with how hands on COC has been and Id have to think long and hard about choosing either camp.
Thanks man, we're trying.
The biggest thing that I always say is, "The camp you go to first always has a special place in your heart. Period." Nothing anyone can do or say will change that person's mind, and actually I wouldn't want to change your mind. It's awesome when you can come to Whistler and to a camp and have the best week of your life. As long as that happens I don't care which camp you came to or come to. I obviously hope you come to COC, but no matter which camp you go to, hopefully you will have the best time of your life. That is all that matters to me. That's why I do camp.

i don't get it... i clicked the contest entry link in the blog, and it says i'm entered. do i still need to friend up and support all those companies? Do I need to be at the premiere to win?
Yes you do. Thanks. The auto on only does a few. You have to be at the premiere to win Alan's bike. Thats a written entry on the day. Casey's bike is going to someone that friends up everyone and adds their support to everyone on the list.

Ken
No, we are drawing the bike at 5:30 so that everyone has a chance to win ALan's bike, not just adults that can get in a bar. The only showing is at 9 for What's Next.

thats stupid. well not the all ages being able t win but the fact that anyone under 19 cant see the movie till it comes out
All ages were able to win... Some crazy Super exicted guy the wildcard, it was hilarious. Then they through SO many prize to the crowd...Got some COC stickers and a dakine cooler bag. I saw the last half of Whats next? As I came late... But it was awesome! They had 2 showings... One at 5 for all ages and one at 9 for 19+... Props to COC for their party thing! It was sick!

Thanks for enetering, Some of you are missing a few of the people to friend up and add your support to. Check through this list and add whoever you are missing. Take a couple minutes to make sure you are good to go. It would suck to not win because you missed someone.
